Reiki

What is Reiki Ryoho?

It is a Japanese healing art which channels Universal Light Energy through the hands of the practitioner into the body of a receiver. It is a simple and powerful system of energy work that anyone can learn, It helps for healing and development on physical , emotional, mental and spiritual levels. It helps the source of the illness to emerge and encourages the recipient to take more responsibility and be more in charge of their lives. The practitioner uses the Reiki Ryoho to move and balance energy, remove blocks and repair tears in the aura which helps to restore well being.

Physiologically, Reiki has been shown to be effective in activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Two scientific studies were also conducted with rats and produced clear, objective evidence of a benefit of Reiki for stress-reduction. For human patients with chronic health conditions, Reiki has been found to be more effective than placebo for reducing pain and anxiety, depression, and for improving self-esteem and quality of life. Reiki should be regarded as a complement (not an alternative) to conventional medicine and other therapies. (See "Reiki Is Better Than Placebo and Has Broad Potential as a Complementary Health Therapy" for more details about 13 peer-reviewed scientific studies of Reiki from 1998-2016.)
